Concept, performance: Andrea Maurer, Thomas Brandstätter
Wooden slats and nails are transformed into chairs to sit on with the help of a hammer. The audience don´t have to stand any longer: every half hour one more person gets to sit down and – occidentally cultivated – watch how easy it would be to elude production and market mechanisms and, finally, find some rest. Based on designs by Enzo Mari from 1974. The chairs can be taken home by the audience for free after the show.
